Rotating the monitor can cause the colors to
become distorted because the earths magnetic field will effect
it differently when rotated. The magnetic field will bend the
electrons coming from the guns slightly and can change the colors.
I sometimes get a little color distortion in the lower right
corner of the screen when its rotated vertically. (Not too bad
though). The color distortion can be easily corrected by using
a degaussing coil. This coil is plugged into the wall and then
turned on. Then it is moved slowly in a circle starting about
6 feet away from the monitor and moved closer slowly until right
up to the monitor. Then move slowly away again. When about 6
feet away again turn off the coil. I got mine at Happs.
Any Questions feel free to mail
me. I have a ZIP file available of all the monitor rotation
pics from this site as well as many others not contained here.
