I cleaned up the old coin door and reinstalled
it in the cabinet. I wanted to use the original coin slots so
I bought 2 new coin
mechs from Happs
that were on sale for like $6.00 apiece. The original credit
switches still work fine.
The original coin door didn't have any coin
return light when I got the cabinet so I purchased some from
Happs
along with light receptacles. I gut a piece of aluminum sheet
and bent it into an angle and mounted it above the hole for
the return lights and mounted the lights to that. The lights
are 12 Volt so I just made extensions to wires and hooked them
up to the PC power supply. The power supply leads have 4 wires,
+12vdc -12vdc +5vdc and -5vdc. I just used the two 12 volt wire
and it works perfectly.
